Jim Boeglin, JD, GRI, Realtor

Jim is a native Hoosier, graduating from Indiana University with an AB in Economics in 1965 and a JD from IU Law School in 1968.  Prior to becoming a Florida Realtor in 2003, Jim was a 35-year member of the Indiana State Bar Association and senior partner in the Fort Wayne law firm of Boeglin, Troyer, and Gerardot. More recently, he has authored two books – “The Bike Writer” and “Character Building” – which share his philosophy for living a fulfilling life.

Jim brings many years of experience to the real estate business, having negotiated numerous real estate and business transactions on behalf of clients and customers.  His legal background and practical, common sense approach to problem solving is helpful in all phases of a real estate transaction.

He is currently a member of the Bonita/Estero Area Board of Realtors, the Florida Association of Realtors, the National Board of Realtors, and has earned his GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation. He has served on the Spanish Wells Community Association Board of Directors, and has also served in various capacities on the Board of Directors of Spanish Wells Country Club.

Jim is an avid bicyclist and golfer. Married to Jan, they have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.


Jan Boeglin, GRI, Realtor

Jan grew up in Ligonier, Indiana where her family owned and operated Kidd’s Marshmallow Products. After other ventures, she went to work in the family business to help expand into world-wide sales and marketing. She brings to real estate her sales and marketing experience, along with technology and communication skills.

Jan is a current member of the Bonita/Estero Area Board of Realtors, the Florida Association of Realtors, the National Board of Realtors, and has earned her GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation.

She and Jim became Florida residents in 1998, and then moved from Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Bonita Springs in 2001. In her leisure time she enjoys golf and bicycling. She and Jim share three wonderful children, four precious grandchildren and two cuddly cats.


Jim GriffithJim “Grif” Griffith, JD, CAM, Realtor

Jim is an attorney from Cleveland Ohio who holds BBA and JD Degrees from CWRU.  He is an honorary member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is experienced in all phases of mergers and acquisitions and in business, corporate and real estate law.  Jim and his wife Wynette built a new home in Marbella at Spanish Wells in 2004 as their second home. After two years, he reduced his commitments to the practice of law and moved full time to Bonita Springs.  In 2009, he became a licensed Community Association Manager, a licensed Real Estate Sales Associate and a Realtor, then joining the Boeglin Team to focus more on residential real estate sales. He brings his organizational, analytical and research skills to the Boeglin Team, as well as his calm demeanor and highly developed negotiating talents.

Grif is a member of the Bonita/Estero Area Board of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors, and National Board of Realtors. He is an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs. As a member of Spanish Wells Country Club, Grif has served on its Board of Governors as Secretary and as Chairman of several committees. He is a former Director and Secretary of Spanish Wells Community Association.  He is a past President of the Marbella at Spanish Wells Home Owners Association, and now serves as Vice President and Secretary of the Las Brisas Condominium Homes Association.

Grif and Wynette live in Spanish Wells. They enjoy the accomplishments of their four successful adult children and four grown grandchildren.


Fred Cuthbertson, Realtor

Fred received his Florida real estate license in 2011 and joined the Boeglin Team shortly thereafter. Fred is newer to real estate, but is not new to sales and marketing. His experiences have included selling mainframe computers and software applications. A graduate of Lehigh University, Fred has expertise in various technologies including e-commerce, and vertical industry software and hardware applications. He has years of management experience in operations and sales, and has added a unique dimension to the Boeglin Team.

Real estate is in Fred’s genes, as his father was a real estate broker on Cape Cod for 25 years, and more recently was a Realtor in Naples until his retirement at age 88.

Fred and his wife, Carol, are residents of Marbella at Spanish Wells, where he is a member of Spanish Wells Golf and Country Club. He has been active on various community association boards, including being the Vice President and Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Spanish Wells Community Association.
